Samsung is launching its largest-ever lineup of Neo QLED TV models for 2025, including a new 8K series, a 4K series that will eventually include the company’s largest ever consumer display at 115 inches, and is expanding its Art Store to a wider range of TVs outside of The Frame lineup.

The new 8K TVs, Samsung says, are the first to feature Samsung Vision AI that offers smarter, adaptive features, pairing AI-enhanced images and audio. This also includes Ai tools like a new “Click to Search” feature, real-time translations with subtitles in a preferred language, and hand-motion control via a Galaxy Watch.

The 4K lineup, meanwhile, is the company’s “most expansive yet,” including three model series up to 115 inches.

The TV market leaders 2025 launches come as the company faces fierce competition from Chinese rivals like TCL and Hisense, which have been gobbling up more market share with their own QLED models.

Samsung’s 2025 Neo QLED 8K TVs Deliver AI-powered Clarity

Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K TVs feature a glare-free picture with Quantum Matrix Mini LEDs and a range of AI features designed to improve video and audio.

The TVs are powered by Samsung’s “most advanced” NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor. The new QN990F series, featuring 65-inch to 98-inch sizes, leverages 8K AI Upscaling Pro to transform SD, HD or even 4K content into the sharpest and smoothest picture of any Samsung TV.

The QN990F also features Samsung’s glare-free screen technology to eliminate issues while watching in bright rooms. The TV also comes with the new Wireless One Connect Box that transmits inputs from up to 30 feet away. Also highlighted is the Motion Xcelerator 240Hz, which brings fast motion clarity for gaming and sports, while AI Motion Enhancer Pro smooths the motion of fast-moving visuals and text, the company says.

The TV features dedicated top-channel speakers that enable Dolby Atmos sound (no Eclipsa audio just yet), while Object Tracking Sound Pro provides dynamic, realistic audio designed to follow on-screen movements.

Meanwhile, the new QN900F series offers 8K AI upscaling designed to enhance content up to an 8K resolution. In addition to glare-free technology, the TV will feature a new metal frame that Samsung says is designed to compliment the TV’s surroundings. The QN990F also features Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator 165Hz for smooth visuals, and also comes with Object Tracking Sound+ with Dolby Atmos for sound that moves in sync with on-screen content.

The QN900F series (65” and 75” class sizes) range in price ranging from $3,299 for the 65-inch model to $5,499 for the $85-inch model. The 85-inch model is the only that isn’t yet available. The QN990F TVs are the more premium 8K models, with prices ranging from $5,499 for the 65-inch model to a whopping $39,999 for the 98-inch version, according to Samsung.

The Neo QLED 4K lineup, meanwhile, is the company’s “most expansive yet,” including three model series up to 115 inches. The models in this new lineup include the QN90F, QN80F, and QN70F, with the QN90F eventually being available in that largest-ever Samsung screen size.

The QN90F is Samsung’s flagship model, featuring an upgraded NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor designed to improve picture and audio as users watch content. Samsung says the processor upscales older content into 4K resolution, while Neo Quantum HDR+11 technology aims to adjust brightness and make images appear more realistic. This model also features glare-free screen technology and Motion Xcelerator 165Hz.

Both the QN80F and QN70F feature the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor for an AI-enhanced 4K picture and optimized sound, as well as 4K AI Upscaling and Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator 144Hz.

The QN90F series and QN80F series are available for purchase starting today, with the QN70F series arriving soon along with pricing details. The currently available TVs will range in price from $1,299 for the 55-inch QN80F to $14,999 for the 98-inch QN90F.

Prices for the 100-inch QN80F and the 115-inch QN90F are not yet available. The two larger sizes will come later this year, the company says. They will leverage Supersize Picture Enhancer, which Samsung says optimizes visuals while reducing blur.

Samsung Expands The Frame’s Success to Other TVs

Samsung’s The Frame art TV is among the most popular TVs on the market, with its sleek design making it look like a framed piece of artwork thanks to the included Samsung Art Store. Now, Samsung is expanding access to the Samsung Art Store to its Neo QLED 8K, 4K and QLED TVs after the company announced a new Frame Pro Model while at CES in January.

“We’ve seen tremendous success with the Samsung Art Store on The Frame and now we’re excited to bring it to even more Samsung TV owners,” Samsung said in a press release. “Choose from over 3,000 works of art, including exclusives from the world’s leading artists, museums and galleries.”

Samsung also marketed its Tizen OS, which now offers up to seven years of updates, cloud gaming, free TV channels, integration with smart home brands, and new select Q-series soundbars.
